Plan Your Backyard Games This Summer

Considering Social Distancing will continue throughout the summer, many of our outdoor sports may not be available.  Will the Golf Courses open? Will we have access to tennis courts?  How about baseball, soccer, volleyball, etc.  The list goes on.

Here are a few games that will keep you safe and enjoy your backyard a bit more.

Bring back badminton.  This racquet sport can be played as singles or doubles.  The team that doesn't let the "birdie" drop on their side of the net gets the point.  This game is a little tricky when there's wind but don't let that stop you from putting up the net.  Here are some helpful instructions on how to set up your court in your back yard,  Order your badminton set here.  Who knows this may be the newest trend of the summer of 2020

Oh No - What if the golf courses don't open.  Lets hope they do. If they don't, you can still work on your game with this 3 in 1 practice golf set - can also be used as a goalie net for soccer and ball hockey.  When the golf courses do open you will be ready to challenge your opponents and perhaps have the best game ever.  Need some competition - challenge your friends to a match in your back yard.  Grab your clubs and shoes and have a game. Its easy enough to practice social distancing.

If golf is not your thing, what about Croquet?  Dust off your wooden mallets and setup your pegs around the yard.  If you forget the rules just click here for a quick reminder.  I remember playing this game weekly as a kid.  It didn't matter your age, height or strength.  Croquet was a game everyone could enjoy.  If you cannot find your old set, click here to order your new one today

How about an energetic game of volleyball. You can ship in some sand and make your back yard into a beach volleyball court - without the beach.  This game can be played with as little as 2 people or get the whole family involved and make teams.  Volleyball is a fun way add cardio and agility to your day.  Click here to get your volleyball set in time for the summer

Don't forget about the old standby backyard games.  How about Boccee Ball? Or camping games like CornHoleLadder ball toss game and Horseshoes. These games are easy to set up, take down and will keep you entertained for hours.  You will be able to maintain your 2 meter distance from each other while still having fun and socializing.

What will your backyard look like this summer?
